It does a great job of dampening external noise while playing great sounding music. It's everything I wanted. A longer cord would make it more convenient because of the many different clothing types where there is no easy place to clip onto.

It really removes background noise, so I can hear the music I want to listen to, whether on a plane or at the gym. It fits well into my ear even when jogging with just one ear in. You can turn off the noise canceling e.g. while jogging on the street for safety, and it works without batteries.

The ATH-ANC23 headphones do a great job of dampening cabin noise on flights. I travel a great deal internationally, and these headphones are not only effective in cutting noise, but produce great sound. Finally, i don't have to carry bulky standard sized headphones in my carry on luggage!

Great sound quality! The noise canceller is a great feature. The earbuds are sometimes uncomfortable but that is related more to my dry ear than the bud itself. Great product for the price!

Great product. You won't be disappointed with this item. The only improvement I would recommend for Audio Technica is to add a mic so that we can use this on an iPhone or any phone for that matter.
