Nice lens - problem attaching filters?

Comments about Tamron 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD SP AF Aspherical (IF) Lens For Nikon AF:
The 77mm UV filter I purchased concurrently did not seat well. I am not sure whether this was the fault of the lens or the filter. However, due to this, apparently the filter/lens cap combination came loose from the lens and fell off when I set the camera down in a restaurant, and I did not realize this until after I returned home. When I called the restaurant the next day they said they didn't have the filter and lens cap. I had to order another lens cap and filter at my expense.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Perfect lens for my application
By VRBO Beth
from Littleton, CO
Just what I needed for my rental business. I needed high-quality indoor pictures of my rental units and this lens is perfect. I also found that it's great for "curbside" and outdoor shots, so there's no need to carry around a second lens in most cases.Kudos to BuyDig, too, for working with me to get the right lens. They were so easy to work with when I needed to return a different lens that didn't do what I'd hoped.FIVE STARS for BuyDig and this lens.

Does the job
About Me Photographer
As others have noted, slow to auto focus and soft wide open. If used manually between F8-11, does a very admirable job.

As good as the Nikon

Great lens, nearly identical to the Nikor version at half the price.
