The unisex and lightweight Garmin Forerunner 110 Sport Watch simplifies your workout and makes it easy to track the speed and distance of your run or walk. Being waterproof is another helpful feature, protecting the watch from rain, sweat and other moisture. It also features a heart and pace monitor that records how strenuous your workouts are. Your elapsed time, distance and pace are accurately recorded using GPS technology.
Unisex and lightweightThe Forerunner?s stylish, unisex design looks great on both men and women. Wear it to work, and keep it on for your evening run. Gym rats will appreciate that this product is lightweight and not large or bulky like many sports watches. It does the job and you barely even notice it?s there.
GPS enabled and easy to accessThe Garmin high-sensitivity GPS receiver locks onto satellites quickly, even under trees or near tall buildings, so you can be out the door and on with your run in no time. Simply charge the watch, take it outside to find GPS satellites, wait about 30 to 60 seconds for the GPS to locate your position and then answer a few setup questions. Press "start" to begin your workout and then "stop" when you are done. It's just that easy. Being GPS enabled also means that you can upload to the free Garmin Connect website for a more detailed analysis, a map of where you ran and pace and elevation graphs.
Waterproof up to 1mIf you want to swim laps in the pool and keep track of your distance, a durable waterproof watch keeps the moisture out. Water resistance is a key function for a sports watch, and the Garmin Forerunner 110 is perfect for logging swimming workouts.
Heart and pace monitorA heart and pace monitor displays the beats per minute of your heart rate. It also provides calorie computations for you to accurately calculatecalories burned. Your average heart rate from every workout is stored under "History" along with other run data.
The Garmin Forerunner 110 Unisex Sport Watch has numerous advantages over other heavier and bulkier models. You can also wear this as a regular watch because of its smaller size and weight compared to many normal sport watches.
Forerunner 110 is the easiest way to track your training. It's GPS-enabled so it knows how far and how fast - with no extra bells and whistles. There's virtually no setup required, so you can just press start and run or walk with it.
Train Smarter, Not HarderWhether you're training to complete your first 5k or other race distance or you want to get faster and fitter, having accurate workout data is the key. Forerunner 110 uses GPS to accurately record your distance, time and pace. Data from each run is stored in the unit, so you can go back and review how you did last week or last month. Or, upload to our Garmin Connect website for more detailed analysis.
Easy to UseNow there's nothing standing in the way of you and your run. Forerunner 110 is our simplest training device yet. Out of the box, you'll charge it, take it outside to find GPS satellites and answer a few setup questions. Then just press start and take off. Once you're done, press stop. It really is that easy.
Follow Your HeartSome versions of the Forerunner 110 (men's black/red and women's gray/pink) come with a heart rate monitor to display your heart rate in beats per minute. It also provides heart rate-based calorie computations so you can accurately track your calories burned. If you purchase the black/gray Forerunner 110 without heart rate monitor, you can always purchase one of our heart rate monitors separately, or use it with an ANT+ heart rate monitor you already own.
Store, Analyze and ShareBeginning and advanced runners know that reviewing data from your run can be motivating and provide meaningful feedback for improvement. Tracking your data is simple with Garmin Connect, our website for free data analysis and sharing. Just upload to Garmin Connect from your PC or Mac, then see the route you traveled on a map, view a summary of your workout data, create goals and more.
Fast and AccurateForerunner 110 features HotFix satellite prediction, which means it locks onto satellites quickly so you can be out the door and on with your run in no time. It also has a high-sensitivity GPS receiver to stay locked onto satellites, even near tall buildings or under tree cover.

I love that this watch tells you your pace. It was very helpful as I ran my first 10K to make sure I didn't run out of steam half way through.

110 is a poor substitute for the 305

About Me Athletic, Classic, Practical
I have used my Garmin Forerunner 305 for almost 3 years when the buttons gave out. My sweetheart got me this Garmin 110, which was more expensive without consulting me first. There are so many features that I miss from the 305, as I have listed. Being able to see your calorie count as you run, 4 items on the screen, current pace, pace average, time, distance. Then you can scroll through 3 different screens on the 305. This 110 is very basic. The only thing that I like more about the 110 is that I wear it as a watch. I would much rather have the 305, and would not recommend the 110 to anyone like me.

I have used this for mostly short runs and a few bike rides so far. The satelite aquisition occurs pretty quickly and I have had no problem with it reading my chest strap. The 110 isnt the first heart rate monitor I have used, but it seems to be the most consistent and durable of any other Gamin/Suunto watches I have had or tried. It does have its limits to what it can do, intreval training, displaying heart rate on face, wireless ANT capabilities. But I knew most of that when ordering, which is why it isnt a very expensive piece of equipment. But what it does, it does well so far. The 8 hour battery life is great and the mygarmin.com website gives some good details as well as shared trails/runs from other users. The size of it is good for me, and I have even worn it casually around town for a few nights with no problems. Overall a good buy if you are looking for a simple/compact/inexpensive gps watch that can also utiilze a HR monitor(sold separately) and dont need the altimeter/barometer/intreval training features that the higher end models have.
Good things come in small packages.

It came in a timely manner and was exactly what I expected. Very happy with it.
Great service, lousy product.

Not sure why Garmin makes this GPS device, even less sure why a runner would want it. It does NOT store splits. The unit never worked right even after re-downloading the software through Garmin's techinical support team. Would not give me my current pace while training.I love Garmin products and their technical support, just cant reccommend this one. As usual 5 stars out of 5 for Buydig, they handled the purchase and the return with great customer service and made it very easy for me. I love Buydig and HIGHLY reccomend them!
mostly i use it for my trail runs
