Not a cheap lens- but worth it!
By Baseball Dad

Bought this lens to shoot my son who plays CF in HS baseball. This lens does not disappoint!Very fast Auto Focus keeps up with the fast action in high school sports. It's heavy and I would not consider using it for long without a monopod.Still learning how to shoot better pictures but already realize the mistakes have been made on the other end of the camera to this point. Not the lens fault. It's interesting how this lens gets us onto the baseball field without any questions from the coaches or umpires. My wife took some pictures of flowers and while this does not claim to be a macro lens- we were both blown away by the results.Lens was not cheap but it will hold its value and our son will only be in high school for a few years. In hindsight- I would buy it again.
