The ear pads do not keep my ears from touching the grills for the driver. This is very uncomfortale and a serious design flaw. I don't think my ears are that large.

These cans produce powerful bass without dropping treble or mids,isolation is handled by the tight fit actually putting some pressure over your ears. The padding allows this without making them uncomfortable. I've owned several hi-end cans these sound the best ! Not to pricey if you enjoy music you will not go wrong with Audio Tech Pro 700 MK2

I'm a BassHead and a Gamer and I can affirm that this is an absolute wise step forward,
I have been using few headphones and headsets from others brands and I definitely switched to audio-technica, just for the impressive performance and the quality that the AT products have, regarding this headphones I am totally impressed with the very low bass extension and vibrant highs that this unit can produce without distortion and the massive 3,500 mW of power handling, impressive headroom without doubt.
BassHeads, Gamers and people who request a punchy audio image from very low bass to rich vibrant highs and ofcourse the impressive power headroom, will fall in love with this unit.

Sound quality is good and the construction is very sturdy. However; small cups, rubs on your ears, and it squeezes; no sign of breaking in after a week of steady wearing.

The build constructon on the PRO700MK2 is very solid. The headphone is kinda tight at first, but after two weeks of using it, it has stretched out a bit and now is more comfortable.
I am amazed at the sound quality! I've been looking for a headset with enough bass and that can also pick up small subtle elements in music and at 5Hz-35KHz, this headset has the range to do it. It sounds great for all types of music and movies. I was watching a show that had a scene with thunder, and I seriously thought it was thundering outside when my headphones vibrated.
My only problem is I think that it should have come with a coupler to combine both of the cables that are included. It would have been more versatile as I think the three meter coiled cable is too short and kinda awkward when you can't leave the workstation without taking the headphones off.

Price too high for this headphone compare to a much better sound quality (Bose Ae2) I thought I gave this brand a try but now I much appreciate Bose product and don't think I'll try another brand. Bose is probably as good as you are going to get for [$]
