Fantastic quality for a great price.
Exactly what I paid for
This product is perfect for music recording. It picks up sound quite well. It is also great for skype. However, it may be a bit too loud for the person/people you are chatting with on Skype because it picks up sound so well. I would recommend this to a friend. It is affordable and worth buying. It has three settings that you can play around with as well.
Good mic for the price

We bought this to record our band practices. We play quite loud in our basement. We do not have sound insulated walls. It does a decent job. It can pick up all components but obviously with just one mic the volume levels of each instrument can't be adjusted. You can record each instrument individually and then multi-track the levels into a more professional sound. You can't get a really professional sound of the whole band all at once though. So we figured that recording practices it what it's best use is for us. Every little gem that comes out of us during practice can now be saved for later development. We may use this to record a rough demo, but for a more professional sound we are going to mic each instrument individually. It's definitely worth the price v.s. other multi-channel microphones.

Using to record voice overs and choir.
Good but large
from St Louis MO
I use it primarily for computer communication and it is very good for that but it was much bigger than I was expecting - about the size of a softball. probably my own fault for not checking the dimensions.

It's a lot larger than what I was expecting to be honest, but it is very nice! The neck is a little flimsy, so positioning it is tricky.
