This is a great point & shoot digital camera with a view finder, which is rare on such cameras at such a low price range. Small size allows you to carry it all the time for unexpected photo ops.Wi-fi is iffy & zoom is only 5x, but it is 16 megapix which produces good clarity.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Best compact Viewfinder available !
By M/C biker Kenny

I bought this as a carry while travelling outdoors camera because you just can't see any LCD back-of-camera screens out in the sunshine. What I got was an incredibly feature loaded camera that works great, works fast and once you sit down with the online manual and learn all the features; can give you all the flexibility you need re aperture, lighting etc. Optical viewfinder is not linked to the zoom feature of course so depending on subject matter, you may need to educate yourself as to what your picture is in relation to the size image that you are viewing optically.
better than expected for the price

I will use for trip to Grand Canyon. You need the viewfinder due to the sun at the West Rim Skywalk. This camera is easy to use, has alot of features my KODAK Easy Share didn't have. Has an Auto setting that picks best settings for the shot. Has a viewfinder, which I wanted. I just got it, so am still experimenting, but seems to take really nice pictures. The price was a big plus.
