Great for "everyday" kitchens! It is so easy to keep the cutting blades clean on this can opener. I'm not an extreme "clean freak", but keeping the cutting mechanixm clean is so necessary to prevent any chance of botulism.

I bought this for my mother-in-law to replace her old can opener. Even though she is now retired, she once owned a restaurant and won't settle for anything inadequate in her kitchen.
