We haven't quite had this pot long enough for five stars; but its near identical predecessor recently quit on us after 7 years of near daily service and it owed us nothing. This one is brewing much more quickly and nicely. I think the other one was on its last legs for some time... So far we're quite happy with it!

I had a Bunn for many years,which finally died. This Cuisinart brews coffee quickly & the quality is as good as the Bunn. I love the permanant filter-saves money. I love the pause feature,as well as the feature for concentrating the flavor if you are making 4 cups or less-& it works! So far I am very happy with this coffeemaker.

I bought this Cuisinart firstly, because of its looks. I researched it, and found that most people seemed to like it. I really like the permanent filter, and it brews quickly .It is a bit loud.
The only thing I don't like is that the clock display is very small. It is very attractive, and sits very compact on the counter.

I prefer using the gold filter supplied with the coffee maker. Not only does it keep from having to purchase additional paper filters, its gives the coffee a more robust flavor.
