Smaller pot than described
About Me Everyday Drinker
Comments about Hamilton Beach 48131 - Aroma Express 5 Cup (White):
The coffeemaker works well and doesn't take up much counterspace, which is what I wanted. The description says that it is a 5-cup coffeemaker. To me a cup means 8 oz. When I got the coffeemaker, I was disappointed to find that it hold five 5-oz cups. I think this is deceiving, since none of the descriptions say that a cup equals 5 oz, instead of 8 oz. It does the job, but I'd like a slightly larger pot.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best buy for brewing coffee!
from Sierra Madre, Ca
We replaced a Keurig with and are EXTREMELY satisfied with the results. We b ought 2, using one in our RV and couldn't be happier with the amount of coffee brewed for the two of us at home and while traveling. Plus, the coffee is much cheaper to buy for this pot. Great appliance at a very low price.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
nice compact unit that functions well
By Bubbles Galore
from Pleasanton Ca
I like the looks and functionality of the unit and compactness. It dribbles when pouring the water or coffee as to the actual pot design butfor making a quick cup for one or two people, cant be beat.
from Toms River, NJ
It's a nice small pot and makes just the amount of coffee I drink in the morning. But the pot drips/leaks when you pour the coffee so I have to hold the cup over the sink or a paper towel to catch drip. But otherwise it's great.
Excellent for one cup or a very few cups

Each morning put in a filter, one spoon coffee grinds and one cup of water, and in a few minutes I have a great hot cup of coffee. All of this takes just 5 minutes at most.
