This is a great battery ... It works as well as the original battery ... However I notice that the time to recharge it is alot faster than the original. I would buy this battery again if I would have to. I simply pop it in to my D3100 battery grip and I can last a week without taking it out to charge. I recommend this to anyone interested in a backup battery for your DSLR.
