About Me Experienced
Comments about Sony MDR-7506 Professional Headphones:
Should be tested side-by-side with comparably priced headphones to decide if you like them. I have headphones three times as expensive but based on reviews of both 'phones I expected these to be better. They weren't, by far.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

You get what you pay for.

I bought these headphones to use with my Roland TD-10 drum-kit based on positive reviews that I had read in various locations. For the price, these headphones provide decent sound quality and comfort. I was not, however, as blown away by their quality as I had anticipated based on reviews by others. They are a decent product, but you are getting exactly what you pay for... nothing more. I am content with my purchase, but if I had it to do over, I might explore some other options.

Using these for tracking in Pro Tools, and they do a good job of canceling out noise. Flat response is also great in these guys.

About Me Audiophile
If I was doing this over again I would want a volume control on the device. Too often I have to adjust the volume on the source to a point that is almost impossible to set.
