5 out of 5 stars   Celestron G2 10-30x50mm Zoom Binocular

Pros: Good quality. Nice kit includes neck strap, cleaning cloth, and nylon carry case. Lighter than other porro-prism binocs, clear field of view. Quality optics for low-light conditions and fog.
Cons: Diopter adjustment varies with zoom. I need a -2.00 diopter at standard magnification - when I zoomed this binocular to 30X, I ran out of diopter range. Doesn't matter, though - without a tripod the image is too shaky for viewing at that high a magnification. With a tripod, I'll probably be good on the diopter out to 24X.
Other Comments: Great value and quality for the price. I take these rather than my Zeiss 10x50 on hikes. Less bulk and weight when backpacking. Better than B&L, Barska, or other lower-price range optics.
