The Cuisine 4c. coffeemaker makes 5 ounce cups. A standardized cup is 8 ounces. I don't even own a 5oz.cup.The carafe is not insulated to keep coffee hotand is very thin material. Coffee is not hot after 1st cup.I bought it to match my other RED appliances but it is made of cheap plastic and flimsy where my others are metallic red and sturdy. It is slower brewing than my previous 8 cup coffeemaker. It is overpriced compared to others that work as well or better.I can't in good faith recommend it as it falls short of my expectations from Cuisinart.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Best small coffee maker ever!
from Belmont, N.H.
I bought this because I was looking for a small type personal coffee maker as my husband likes his instant coffee. Was considering buying a mini Keurig but read too many negatives about the product. After doing some research, I found this coffee maker. Best choice I ever made! I thought it came with the copper filter (my mistake), so I ordered one after the fact. Realy adds to the flavor of my coffee! Cuisinart realy holds up to it's reputation!
