I thought I had lost my old one and this is worth the cost to have it on the camera when I need it. Now it is a backup in case I lose the one which I had found in the trunk of my car.

If it was sunny out we couldn't see through the screen. This little gadget works pretty good. Little clumsy to open and close, but otherwise works well.

The cover flips open and closes easily. It stands up to outdoor use. The adhesive strip sticks well to the camera.

Well designed, and works smoothly. Shade blocks exessive sunlight. Snaps on & off easily when not needed. Has clear screen to protect camera's LCD screen. This can cause reflection, but with judicious use of a razor knife it can be removed PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, which cuts glare. I am extremely happy with product now, and would recommend. Bright sunlight shooting problems now solved.
