Down behind enemy lines? Left to fend for yourself? These are the scenarios that inspired the LMF II. Field-tested by our men and women in uniform, this knife is as adaptable as the personnel who carry it. Use it to cut through the skin of a fuselage or sever a seat belt. Use it to egress through the Plexiglas of a helicopter, cut firewood, help build a shelter or even lash it to a pole to create a spear.
The TacHide handle successfully limits blistering. There is a complete separation between the tang and butt cap so the knife absorbs the shocks from hammering and prevents the conduction of electricity. The low-profile sheath facilitates movement, limits noise, works for parachuting, and attaches to a belt or MOLLE. Its patented, integrated sharpener helps it retain its edge in the field. Proudly made in U.S.A.

A grown-up knife
By Bug Out Ready
This knife is tough as nails...and you can pound nails too! Seriously though, if I find myself stranded, seperated from my pack, I'll be very grateful that I still have this blade strapped to my side. Survival gadgets that come contained in it? Aside from the field blade sharpener in the sheath, there are none; but that's how you know this knife is no novelty. It's a hardcore, simply constructed, durable tool that no outdoor enthusiast should be without.
I now have two, one for each B.O.B.

I would have to say of all of the knives I own, this one, by far, is my favorite. Perfect size and weight for camping and/or survival. Forget the 'hollow handle' Rambo stuff. This is the real deal. If you want all the 'stuff' that fits in the knife handle? Get a surplus M-16 mag pouch holder and store it there not in the knife.

This knife is great. I got it for hunting, I haven't really used it for crazy stuff, but by the way it feels in my hand, I know it'll preform excellent and the weight feels good, you can tell your holding some awesome in your hand.
Definately would buy this knife again

Rugged and durable

This is a great knife. Very well made solid craftsmanship. It's a little tough to draw from it's sheath if you don't have it secured to your leg and/or belt, but that's a good thing if you plan on moving about because it's not going to slip out on you. Overall fantastic quality. This knife is a must for any serious hiker or camper.
