I thought fan would be more powerful than another model that I own, but it is very quiet which was the main feature that I wanted.

This fan is so quiet on the lower settings that I forget that it is on. The lowest setting is called "sleep" and at first I was sure the breeze could not possibly reach the bed unless I put the fan by my head. This fan is powerful enough at the lowest setting to provide a soothing and super quiet breeze 8' from the head of the bed. I almost did not buy this fan because it was about $12 more than I wanted to spend but it is totally worth it.

Good buy... easy assembly, runs quiet, variety of speeds, and oscelates well. I bought two and I am pleased with the quality of both.

8 speed fan is great feature.
