I bought this printer in part because a major consumer ratings magazine judged it to be among the best both for overall economy of use, including cost and amount of ink plus purchase price, as well as for quality. It is too soon for me to judge on the ongoing cost of ink. I doubt, however, that anyone could find better quality for this purchase price. I listed "No duplex printing" as a con, but you shouldn't expect that in this price range.

I use the printer for private purposes only, that means low printing volume. So I can not say anything about the use of ink, as an example. What I did like is the ease of installation - having two computers sharing one printer using wireless communications. So, so far I like what I got.

This product will be a Christmas present to our daughter who is a medical transcriptionist for a major hospital in our area; she needs it for her job.

Terrific product.

Needed a Apple iPad compatible printer where we didn't need multiple programs/servers etc to just get a printout. This printer works directly with iPad no hoops to jump thru!
