This product is easy to use to transfer your LPs to a USB drive or Micro SD card. The only problem is the sound is very low and there doesn't seem to be any way to increase it, so when you listen to the recordings on your MP3 player, you have to practically turn the volume all the way up. Otherwise it is a good product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very impressive - A+ player

My boyfriend has a collection of records with no player, so I got him this for his bday -- really it was a gift for myself too ;)I shopped around for awhile and this was the highest-rated one I could find under $100. It's very easy to use, has a sleek design, and sounds great. I love the built in speakers but can hook it up to my surround sound for more of a wide-range sound (the cable is not included for this). I have gotten nothing but compliments and the bf loves it -- I highly recommend this product!

About Me Audiophile, Movie Enthusiast
Bought this specifically for connecting to my stereo amplifier and recording music from old 78s on to CDs. Simple direct connection via RCS jacks. Sound is perfect, including the nostalgic background "noise" from the records. It is working perfectly for me.
About Me Practical
Nice little lightweight turntable that can play 3 speed recordings. I needed something to qualify collection of 78rpm recording for sale. It is not a turntable for the compulsive demanding audiophile. Speed accuracy may be questionable, especially on 45rpm records with no variable speed control. Auto-stop feature is not necessary and seems to inhibit full swing of tone arm and therefor has to be turned off when playing 45s. Otherwise this unit is acceptable for light use. For the price it is a good deal with the extra feature of accepting SM Cards and USB Flash for playback and recording without the need of computer software. Sound quality is ok for it's small size and price. Add a FM/AM receiver and it can multi-task. It has a dust cover, tone arm lock, phone out, and RCA outputs with good volume without a preamp. To edit your produced MP3s (cut unwanted run-time/start noise, trail-off, etc) editing apps (Fission, Audacity, et.al) can be used to finalize for a cleaner copy. Recommended for features and economical cost.
Bodes Well For The Cost
About Me Audiophile, Practical
This ecomomy priced little turntable contains many useful features found in more expensive units. Plastic case, light weight turntable, simple tone arm and cartridge make this unit good for playing 3-speed vinyl discs and may be it's main selling point. Lack of speed control, worthless auto-stop feature that only serves to create a stiffness in tone arm swing negatively effecting 45 disc play are main drawbacks. The multiple media recording advantages and ease in recording makes up for the unnecessary auto-stop feature. This inexpensive turntable is fine for light play, especially if you have a few 78s that you want to copy...but it's definitely not for the serious or compulsive audiophile. Plan on using 'Fission' or similar app for editing and finalizing your MP3 file. I'm assessing a library of recordings for sale and need a unit that plays 78rpms. This works well for my purposes and the playback feature of accepting SM Cards and USB Flash drives is a definite plus. Add the AM/FM receiver and you have a unit that is worth it's low cost.

About Me Practical, Tech Savvy
While this product isn't phenomenal on sound quality, you get what you pay for. However, it was very simple to set up the device, and in only a few minutes of getting it delivered, I had a record spinning. For its low price, I'd say it's a good deal. Though this turntable includes recording features, I don't use them, so I can't comment on that aspect of the product, but its other features work great. As someone who's just starting to collect vinyl, this is a great gift. Once I have a small collection at work, I'll work my way up with better-quality products.

Wonderful portable conversion product. Great for listening to vinyl records, with excellent sound.

This record player was purchased as a gift for my daughter to help her convert all our vinyl to a more user friendly medium. She was able to quickly setup the system and transferred several albums to digital and then downloaded them onto her ipod. The sound is not clearer but rather the exact sound as if we were listening to the album itself. We love it!
great seller. bad stereo

the product was as described. the shipping was what anyone would want it to be. the seller was great but the manufactured player is nothing to brag about.
