This was a present for my son. He is a big stereo buff. he works as professional installer. He raved how great the base sounded, that it actually had a great box and speaker for the base. overall he loved it.

Good for price, got rid of 3 components with this, easy to setup and adjust, kept my Infinity 5.1 speakers (8 ohm)they work fine except the sub woofer - it's not powered so I used the new LG sub non-powered one that came with it - works OK - 8 ohm speakers work fine on this 3 ohm system, LG remote codes are funky - not usable on my Charter DVR remote - bought a Harmony remote - fixed that - Harmony remote is the best I've seen - I should have had one all along!, I would buy this again for doing what I do with it - watching TV.
