The description was misleading. It should have mentioned the Coolpix cameras like my s9100 that it does not fit.

I use it store my camera. The case is designed to have the strap out for carrying. No neck strap but not neccessary.

This is the same as what came with the camera--which was lost and that's why I ordered a new one.

Haven't owned it long enough to testify of how well it holds up. If it is real leather like they claim, it should last a long time. I had a cheaper version & it wasn't padded and it was a piece of junk!!
So I paid more for this one & hopefully it will last.

Great case... I would however, prefer a clip instead of a belt loop in order to use it.

It is stylish, very nice, used to cover my camera. Black leather is nice.
