Good buy for your money
from Raleigh, NC
The lens VR is a plus, it helps eliminate the shake/movements you make while shooting the subject. It has sharp output.I bought this lens because I needed it for scenery as my husband and I travel a lot (local & international). I can't wait to take pictures of the spectacular scenery of Hawaii with this new lens (my second lens). This item is a good buy. I like the 5 year warranty to it as well and the hood too as they all come with it when you purchase one.

I have used the lens the very first time since I purchased it during my vacation in Canada. Just like what I expected, it focused fast and was excellent for portrait compared to those pocket type camera. There was no time of waiting between shots. It is much lighter than my old non-digital telephoto lens.
Light weight mid range tele lens

I used it for my construction inspection recording. It is a reliable, light weight lens.
