I purchased the new Nikon S8000 and just love it. I take it everywhere with me. I purchased a back up battery so I would always be ready to shoot. These batteries last forever. I took it on a trip for a week and took 230 photos,10 long videos, and I never had to charge the battery. I highly recommend this camera because of the batteries lifespan.
