LUMIX's First 25-600mm Lens with Full-Range F2.8 Aperture
Experience LUMIX's first compact digital camera to reach a full range F2.8 bright aperture in a 600mm lens whose quick shutter speed lets you capture moving subjects even at long distances. At the heart of this lens is high-quality LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT optical technology that allows the 25mm ultra wide-angle lens to reach optical brightness across a full 24x zoom range (35mm camera equivalent: 25-600mm). This camera lens enhances all kinds of shooting situations from photographing people indoors to shooting a large structure or a sweeping landscape. The integration of 5 aspherical lenses and 3 ED lenses makes this happen. Its high precision correction performance prevents image distortion.

FZ200 - The best bridge camera
from Lakeland, FL
Great for Astrophotography, landscapes, birds. The 24x optical zoom is the same as a 600mm lens on a 35mm camera. Outstanding for those long distance pictures. And with the bright f2.8 lens all the way to 24x, you can even get excellent results in low light.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice quality camera, worth the expense.
from Hillsdale, Michigan
We are VERY happy with this camera. Photos are great. Really like the panorama and burst modes.

I didn't have time to completely learn all the ins and outs of this camera before my trip, but was extremely happy with how the pictures turned out. I shot in low light and in sun, indoors, and action photos. All turned out excellent taking into consideration that I am not an expert. I am looking forward to exploring the features more and am very happy with this purchase.

Very good, but not perfect
from NW Indiana
Image quality is good. It's not as good as my Nikon D800, but it's also a lot less expensive. Putting a lens this long on my D800 would cost 10 grand and weigh 12 pounds. When the D800 is too much, this camera steps in and takes over. I'm getting used to it and my photos are improving. Given a bit of post processing in Elements, I'm getting very good images.Image Stabilization is a godsend to an old man like me, especially at longer focal lengths.
