Love the picture and the size (55). Only problem was with the RCA speaker outputs not working. I have not even tried talking with Samsung about this, instead, I used the optical speaker output and a additional connector: optical -> RCA to get the Bose speakers working.

They where professional but where in a hurry. They should of stayed there for a few minutes to make sure the package was ok.

I purchases a 55-inch HDTV(and went to high-speed Internet) in order to watch MetOpera on Demand. MetOpera has an Ap for [product name omitted]. So I purchased [this] and [that]. Now I can stream opera to the big screen. No Smart TV would have provided MetOpera and I was uncertain of the quality of the browsers that are becomming available built in to TVs. It's fine for streaming movies from [places that stream movies]. I never expected the sound to be satisfactory for opera and it isn't. I purchased more equipment to get excellent sound. The TV has only two HDMI ports and I need three, but a switcher solves that problem. The picture is excellent and the price was right. For those without a desire for opera I still think a non-smart TV with a box is a better value than a smart TV.

would have given 5 stars but a few more ports would have been nice, that being said. Picture Great! you may need to adjust color to your liking, Full LED! has usb port to watch movies, 2 HDMI used for xbox360 only optical and spdf audiio outs, for 55" if you dont need or cant afford the 3d ready and a lot of other connection ports, along with Internet ready, this is the tv for you, it is basic essentials. I run an external sound bar through spdf, and use for movies, Tv and Gaming, picture is soo clear! wish it was even bigger! I didnt require all the perks of a comparatable model which would be another thousand dollars at least. I own Samsung and LG's both great quality. Price was great! even though within a yr it'll be down 50%. lol.. very happy, would recommend, worth it for picture and size alone! Gaming mw3, blk ops, you are IN the game! amazing clarity! would buy again..120hz performs like 240hz, plenty for watching sports.
