Terrible display

This is a bad product!! Will not get wi-fi!!!

I bought this specifically to replace the nearly down and out Chumby and Insignia systems I have two of.
Those systems cost $200 each. I got this and a nice 10 watt pair of PC speakers to plug it into for a total cost of $100. Half the price of the Chumby systems and I don't have to worry about Google going down the tubes like Chumby has.
I use it mainly for clock and web radio use and not much else. Downside is this device uses their own app store instead of Google Play so you are limited about what you can load on it (although that list is growing).
I had to re-cal the touch screen as at one end everything was off by about 3/8". Easy enough to do on Android which keeps this thing from being a useless toy.
Small text disappears in this unit's lower res screen but for my fixed utility purposes, it is excellent.
There are a lot of stranded Chumby owners out there and this makes a very pleasant and reasonable alternative solution to that.
Seems pretty reliable. I've run it constantly since getting it and no problems at all.
Be sure to touch lightly with the back of your fingernail to make touch points. It has some problems decided where the center of fat fingers are sometimes. Definitely re-cal the touch screen using fingernail edges for high accuracy. Google for "Android 4.0 touch screen recalibration" to see how to do that. It's a very easy one-time change.

very cheap dont buy it not much more than a toy that doesnt work

Bought this for my daughter to use. It had to be returned due to the unresponsive touch interface and the fact that the keyboard letters were not even lined up correctly. The screen also scratched very easily. She was very frustrated with it. Not a great tablet. I will say that the return process was easy and buydig has good customer service.

It's a small inexpensive touch device with Android ICS and WiFi. The ICS experience is frustrated by poor screen touch response and poor WiFi reception (range). Although the size is good for taking in a pocket, the screen touch responsiveness is makes using Android difficult & frustrating to use; a stylus much improves the touch experience. Access to Google Play isn't available instead apps are offered through Mobil Marketplace.

I use the tablet to listen to Pandora, watch Xfinity videos at the fitness center.
Would rather have a capacitive touch screen but getting used to this one. I have a Polaroid PMID4311 also and this SkyTex beats it all around and was cheaper at BuyDig than the Polaroid.

The product I bought was terrible and I would not recommend it. Not at all what I thought it would be. Don't give it as a gift---you will loose them as a friend!

I ordered one for my daughter and it was great. We got it in time for the holiday. The service and delivery were excellent. I got it so fast, that I went ahead and got a second one which also arrived in time for the holidays. Great service!
