I have two laptops, one personal and one business. Work laptop is 17" and personal is 17.3". I carry both in this bag. Both can fit into the actual laptop pocket, but because of the bulge of the battery on my personal laptop it's a little snug; I prefer to put one in the laptop pocket and one into the compartment in the back of the bag along with clothing for short trips. It has plenty of room and from the looks of it should fit into most overhead compartments on planes (although I haven't travelled with it yet). The extra laptop day carrier is a nice perk, but is only meant for a 15" monitor so I gave that to a colleague.

I have the Patriot, the Big Brother to the Potomac and while I liked it, it was too big for most of my needs and moved back to a backpack until I started having shoulder problems. I had to downsize and the Potomac is a very nice step down. For those that feel the Patriot is too big, the Potomac is a great choice. My only reason for not 5 stars was that it is missing a great small quickly accessible pocket the Patriot has and didn't need to be left out. I like to travel light and this is the better choice for me.

Bag is just the right size for the overhead bins on smaller regional jets. A big plus!! Does fit a 17" laptop.

Just the right size for a laptop (extra case included) plus several books, files, phones, supplies. Just excellent. I opted for this case so it would fit in all the overhead bins on airplanes. Smaller commercial jets have smaller overheads. No problem for this case! Also, the handle is NOT hard plastic, but unbreakable rubber, much superior.

Just what I need for short business trips. Quality is great, price can't be beat. The separate laptop case makes a world of difference. Can bring to meetings without feeling I'm hauling luggage around. Despite other comments I've read, easily fits into regional jet overhead bins with enough room on top for my suit/sports jacket (a big concern). I've already recommended this (and BuyDig) to colleagues. By the way, shipping took MUCH less time than they said it would - just icing on the cake.

I got two of these bags, one for me and one for my sister. We are both in college and have many books to carry. I fit all my books, binder and in the back pocket I keep my lunch. It's a sturdy bag with lots of space. This was a fabulous solution and both of us are very happy with the purchase. I will use it when I go out of town as well.

Common design with this model that I seem to purchase every year. They only last that long, but I am really rough on these bags. I do think they are built well. I have not every attempted to use the "Lifetime" warranty, so not sure how many hoops I would need to go through for that. Only issue is that I wish the pockets were a tad bigger....but then it would be too bulky ....it is good!

Have only had product about one month, seems to be holding up well. Has plenty of room inside.
