The DS12 Digital Flash is designed to work with most digital cameras on the market. It excels at providing natural-looking balanced flash exposures, compensating for the less-than-adequate built-in flashes found in many of today's ultra-compact digital cameras.
The flash ships with a bracket designed to let you use your flash with virtually any compact digital camera that has a built-in flash -even those with no flash shoe. By using an existing shoe-mount flash with your compact digital or film camera, you can extend its flash capability, and take pictures at greater distances, with lower ISO settings, and often at wider angles, than is possible with the small built-in flash. The Adapter's bracket attaches easily to any camera having a standard tripod socket.

Comments about Zeikos Digital Camera Slave Flash w/Bracket:
I needed a slave flash for photographing gravestones - the side-lighting at a very acute angle brings out the inscription. I had an add-on slave trigger for my Vivitar flash 40 years ago. I'd forgotten how useful a slave flash can be. I find the slave flash significantly improves all my indoor and night shooting. I'll need more time with it to find out all its benefits.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Compact Flash with Low Price
from QUEENS VILLAGE
I bought this Zeikos flash for my Panasonic DMC G3-compact system camera. I was looking for low price flash for experiment. It recharge quick and recharge time for it is 3 seconds and light is quite bright. I tried to use it on shoe mount- on the top of camera and as slave flash with bracket given- It works fine but it is flimsy construction and cheap materials- I doubt that it will not last long and it is built like cheap plastic toy like cheap toy by china. All switch on camera is too flimsy and I doubt that I will break it while using switch- Switches are hard to use.- Anyway we can not expect more with low price. This is my first experiment and I hope it will last long.

BuyDig is a Terrible Vendor
from Arlington, TX
It is not the product, it is the company. BuyDig is the worst company I ever tried to do business with on the internet. They shipped this product without a problem but previously I tried to buy a Sony Camera from them and they gave me such a hard time about my credit card, before and after I made THIS purchase that I finally got a letter of apology from their sales manager. I would never buy anything from BuyDig. Never.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Defective slave strobe
from Cape Cod, MA.
The first picture that I took was a failure, it made a loud pop and the bulb burned out.Returned it and got a full refund, even got free shipping.Beach camera treated me good, not their fault that it let go.I am a little uneasy about trying another cheap one.Not sure which one I will try next, I will get it from Beach.
excellent product highly recomended.

Great value, works as advertised.

Works well. i'm happy with the purchase. Does exactly what it's made for; it has several settings to deal with various cameras and pre-flash. I can even take advantage of that to get it to 'mega burst' for a very hot flash say to take a picture of a house at night.

Ok flash for the price.
About Me Pro Photographer
Flashes work well as an off camera or on camera fill flash. I actually bought these as a 'throw away' flash that could be used in high foot traffic areas and on back roads for night shoots. These flashes hurt the pocketbook much less then the $600 Nikors should they get kicked or run over. Not much use otherwise.Pros:Flashes are light weight, very compact and have a decent amount of unfocused output.Cons:At times the flash will not trigger in slave mode past "S1". That's a real problem considering that second flash is the one that counts in night shoots.
