Lens filters are translucent pieces of glass placed in front of a camera lens to alter or adjust the light entering the camera and more importantly to protect the camera lens. Lens filters improve photographs by giving photographers control over light and allowing them to emphasize the features of a scene that they consider most important.
This filter kit is a combination of the three essential filters no photographer should be without.
Film and a digital CCD are more sensitive to UV light than our eyes are. This often shows up in images shot from high altitudes and long distances especially over water. This filter will remove the UV light and more importantly protect your lens from moisture, scratches, and damage.
provides color and contrast enhancement. Reflected light often shows up as a whitish glare that washes out color in an image. A polarizing filter will correct this problem creating deep blue skies. It also removes glare from non-metallic surfaces such as windows and water.
provides color correction when shooting under fluorescent lighting. It will remove the greenish tint from the image, providing pleasing skin tones and true to life color renditions.
compact protective carrying case for transporting and storing your set of filters when not in use.

About Me Photo Enthusiast
I love the filters and for the price are well constructed and very sturdy. I would of given it 5 stars but the UV filter in the kit has a spot which comes out on pics therefore I can't use it.

Good value and after reading other reviews I decided upon these filters. I wanted not only protection for my lens but the polarizer was a plus. I am really not interested in the FLD because I usually use custom white balance. But the cost with the extra filter was insignificant.
Exactly what I wanted! Perfect!

Fit's my Canon lens perfectly and the UV filter works great. Haven't had a chance to use the others yet but I assume they'll work just as well. :)
Your best pictures might be filtered !!!

Like anything else, there is a learning curve to using these filters. Once you learn how and when to use these filters, you will find your picture quality will improve. Here is a little trick for those that find their filters are loose fitting. Put a strip of Plumber's Tape on the threads of your lens and then screw the filter on. You can leave the tape on the lens for future use and cover it with the lens cap.

I bought these because I needed a new set of filters for lens protection. I'm only using the UV filter for that purpose, but I may try the one for indoor photos at some point in the future. They do what they're supposed to do.

Good value for the price, works as well as my Tiffens and Hoyas.

I'm REAL new to photography, and don't quite know the in's and out's yet... These filters fit well on my camera, however it was easy for them to get stuck. I would recommend one of the lens filter wrenches to help get a grip on it and remove it.The case made the purchase of this kit over the top! Great addition!

I never had the one for indoors gym lighting, it works very well. The others are standard as far as i'm concerned.
