Fujifilm has launched the new X-E4, a low-profile and compact APS-C camera. The new X-E4 is actually the smallest X-mount camera on the market. This makes it easy and convenient to keep the X-E4 with you wherever you go. While the new Fujifilm X-E4 does have a lot in common with some of its predecessors, here is a look at what makes this new mirrorless camera stand out among its peers.
Minimalist Body
To create this compact and easy to carry X-E4, Fujifilm has done away with a handgrip. This dramatically helps decrease the size of the X-E4 compared to one of its predecessors, the DSLR-shaped X-S10. If you’d rather not go without this feature, you have the option of adding the
Metal Hand Grip for enhanced handling and comfort. There is also an optional
thumb rest available that slots into the hot shoe. These options also help differentiate this camera from an X-A. You’ll recognize the rangefinder styling and dials on the X-E4 as they are the same as previous X-E cameras. However, the square window for the AF illumination LED and 180-degree, 3-inch flip-up rear screen come from the X-A camera models. It is one of the higher resolution panels in its class at 1.62M-dot.
Control Placement
Most of the controls on the X-E4 haven’t changed from the X-E3. The
Fujifilm X-E4 from Beachcamera.com does now only have a single command dial on the front of the camera instead of two like the X-E3. The Fujifilm X-E4 has also added a Q button that takes the place of the Auto button on the X-E3. The new Fujifilm X-E4 is the first X-mount camera to have a P position on the shutter speed dial. You’ll control most of the options on the Fujifilm X-E4 camera by using the touchscreen.
Heart of the X-E4
The new Fujifilm X-E4 is equipped with a 26MP sensor and a faster quad-core X-processor 4. But it can be expanded as low as 80, and as high as 51,200. Shoot up to 20 fps in e-shutter mode using the full sensor. You can take an impressive 460 shots per charge with the NP-W126S battery that comes with the Fujifilm X-E4.
Movie Making
Don’t let the compact size of the Fujifilm X-E4 fool you. This little camera is a great video camera as well. Along with its DCI 4K, the Fujifilm X-E4 can shoot 4K UHD up to 30p and can also output 4:2:2 10-bit video through HDMI. The X-E4 has phenomenal slow-motion capabilities with its full HD recording that is available at up to 240fps! The Fujifilm X-E4 supports face and eye detection autofocus during video recording as well.

You can’t beat the deal you get with the new release Fujifilm X-E4. This small, travel-friendly camera has inherited a lot of features from its predecessors, while adding a few of its own impressive updates. Preorder one of these new
