Introducing DJI Mavic 3 Pro

Drone enthusiasts, great news. The new Pro Drone, from DJI Drone the DJI Mavic 3 Pro has been announced. It is a powerful CMOS Sensor, the 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad Camera, for amazing performance and breathtaking image quality. You’ll be the filmmaker that you’ve worked towards since you were a beginner “Drone Pilot”.

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro's triple-camera system is the newest and only camera drones housing three sensors and lenses with different focal lengths. Equipped with a Hasselblad camera and dual tele cameras, including the main camera and telephoto, the Mavic 3 Pro is a triple-camera drone that opens up new image and video transmission views, allowing you to take mastershots in dynamic range with high frame rates.

The new DJI Mavic upgrades over the already popular Mavic 2 Pro, the DJI Mini 2 SE, the DJI Air 2s and the DJI Mavic 3 classic. Additional configuration models in the DJI drone lineup are the DJI mini 3 pro the DJI RC Pro, and fly more combo drone.

Remote Controller and Battery Life

The included DJI RC Remote Controller can provide live view recordings at 1080p/30fps, 1080p/60fps. It operates on both the 2.4 and 5GHZ networks for connectivity. Some of the speeds with the different remote controller configuarations are: 5.5 MB/s (with DJI RC-N1 Remote Controller), 15 MB/s (with DJI RC Pro) and 5.5 MB/s (with DJI RC).

The battery capacity is 5,000 mAH weighing in at only 335.5 grams. Approximate charging time for the battery depends on if you are using a wall charger or the USB-C port. For example: charging time is approximately 96 minutes using the included data cable of the DJI 65W Portable Charger. If you choose to the DJI 100W USB-C power adapter and the 100W battery life charging hub than charging time would be approximately 70 minutes. Three batteries can be charged in a row.

Image and Video Recording

DJI Cine mode adjusts how the drone moves by slowing it’s braking and creating more fluid flights and video recordings. It adjusts how the drone flies by slowing its braking and movement, creating easy maneuverability and video captures.

This new drone is great for quickshots and even low light photography. Hyperlapse video recording allows you to easily the camera position between each photo. Hybrid zoom, which is commonly found in smartphone cameras. It is a combination of optical zoom and digital zoom improved by AI. The technology, through software magic, aims to improve the capability of optical zoom to provide natural images at higher zoom levels. Please consult your models user manual to determine zoom length. It may also be available through a software update.

Even though ND filters aren’t always needed in filming, they can show a marked improvment in image quality and video recordings. You can shoot stills and videos with a wide aperture and slow shutter speed for natural-looking footage in bright conditions. and protect your camera lens from damage

Safety Features

The stabilization is handled by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal (tilt, roll, pan). An omnidirectional binocular vision system, augmented with a sensor at the bottom of the aircraft directs the sensing of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

The DJI O3 Video Transmission System (O3+ transmission) takes advantage of a new upgraded set of dual antennas to bring video transmission at distances of up to 12 km., which is FCC compliant with no obstructions and utilizing obstacle avoidance.

Additional anti-interference capabilities such as omnidirectional obstacle sensing and RTTH further improve transmission stability in cities and other difficult environments. Also included is APAS 5.0 which is an advanced piloting system. When activated the DJI Mavic 3 Pro will automatically attempt to bypass obstacles when flying forward with the remote controller. It is constantly searching the surroundings to avoid obstacles.
