Still having to go through the extra steps of selecting the camera’s WiFi on your smartphone every time before you transfer images? Wouldn’t it be great for the camera to just transfer pictures when you want? Luckily we now have Nikon's SnapBridge Connectivity. So how does it work? You simply have to download the Snapbridge App for iOS and Android.  Once downloaded, you only need to configure once and up to 5 devices can be paired with any one camera. It's a two-way connection so the SnapBridge application can take the location and time zone from the smart device and automatically synchronize your camera like the Nikon COOLPIX W150 from Beachcamera.com. You can toggle between the option to transfer images automatically during or after shooting in your camera menu. Credit information can also be embedded into the image conveniently using the SnapBridge application. You can select up to two types of information, from copyright and image information, to additional texts and logos, to be placed in the image for personal image protection and identification.

Nikon SnapBridge Version 2.6
Nikon has unveiled an updated version of its SnapBridge app with new features to make it easier for you to share your images online. SnapBridge version 2.6 gives you more options for camera control and faster image transfers. The update allows for the download of RAW images through WiFi to a compatible smartphone or tablet. If you are using a DSLR camera, you can also use your smartphone to adjust your camera's focus, aperture, shutter speed, white balance and more. So those images you take with your camera and Nikon NIKKOR Z 85mm Lens from Beachcamera.com will look amazing!

Version 2.6 promises faster automatic image transfers and faster pairing, which will hopefully address the slower issues of previous versions of Snapbridge. With automatic image transfers, you can opt for a web-ready version that is two megapixels. SnapBridge version 2.6 works with Bluetooth and WiFi-enabled Nikon cameras. These include a selection of CoolPix cameras, DSLR cameras, the KeyMission 80 and mirrorless cameras like the Z6 and Z7. You can download either the iOS or Android version of the updated app from their respective app stores.

With the new SnapBridge Version 2.6, sharing via social media is as seamless and easy as ever.
