The auxiliary input allows you to plug in a smartphone, or other media device, to audition previous mixes or watch that video your friend just shared. The headphone out provides an easy way to work silently and listen to a different source. The front-panel volume knob, which will also adjust headphone volume, works as a power switch. Creative Reference monitors come with a 1/8" stereo RCA cable for connecting your computer's audio output directly to the monitors, a 1/8" to 1/8" cable for connecting a smartphone right into the front of the monitors and a 6' speaker-to-speaker cable to connect the left/right speakers together.
Also included are two professional-grade isolation pads that minimize unwanted bass buildup and allow you to tilt the monitors up or down for more focused listening.
