No transmitter required, the Elanview Cicada allows users to control the quadcopter with any smart device while projecting a live view of its 1080p HD video capture. It features three different control options for different styles of pilots—use the virtual thumbsticks or accelerometers, or simply tilt and rock your device back and forth. In addition to capturing HD video, the Cicada has a 16-megapixel camera for stunning still shots, and a 10-megapixel camera for burst shots. Constructed from lightweight and durable ABS, the drone features brushless motors steadied by stabilizing grommets, which reduce camera vibration.
Flight Modes & Features
The Cicada comes with three flight speeds: Use slow for panning shots, fast for quick action scenes, or medium for something in between. When you want to capture a still image or a bird’s-eye-view shot, or you just want to reorient your flight path, use the altitude hold mode. Best of all, when you’re done flying you can command the Cicada to return home at the touch of a button. With two included batteries, each delivering up to 15 minutes of flight, this zippy quadcopter provides up to 30 minutes of airtime.
