Beach Camera's journey began over 40 years ago on a boardwalk in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, where our grandfather — arriving in America with nothing — opened a small shop selling cameras and t-shirts to passing tourists. Joined by his two sons, he worked tirelessly to serve every customer with warmth and integrity.
A family store that served millions
As word spread and demand grew, the family moved the business to Green Brook, New Jersey, transforming it into a thriving retail store that served millions.
E-commerce pioneers
Always looking to innovate, our family launched BeachCamera.com — one of the first mail-order electronics businesses in the country, and among the earliest e-commerce sites to feature an "Add to Cart" button.
