Printing and Expansion Cards

Printing from Wi-Fi printers is not supported. The camera should be attached either directly to a USB port on the printer itself, Windows, MAC, PC, or other compatible device via the USBC port to print images. USBC is the best way to transfer and retain the integrity of your images data.

One SD Card slot for memory card Compatible with UHS-I. MMC cards are not supported.

There is one SD port for memory cards. This should more than suffice for your average use.

Battery Life

Battery life on full 30 fps recording on the lp-e17battery of video which can last up to 1 hour. However, it can drain a bit quicker than that, if used with full function of features and power of the image stabilization and processing (just like most cameras).

The smaller lp-e17 battery is rated at to 370 stills using the LCD screen, however if you utilize the (EVF) electronic viewfinder that number drops to a rating 230 shots. There are power saving modes which can potentially increase these up to 50-80 shots taken, however some of the power saving modes may impact the availability of several of the cameras features.

Real world use will vary based off several different factors such as the freshness of the battery. (Please consult your user manual for specifics on the model chosen). We recommend a spare battery due to this.

Conclusion

This entry level mirrorless camera suits all of our beginning photo needs. With live streaming capabilities it can also be used as a webcam. Perfect for content creators and vloggers. How about having the movie close up demo mode? The movie demo mode can switch to an object moving to the camera from the on camera image. That is just awesome! For the price point, it will be challenging to find a better value. We highly recommend the Canon EOS R50 cameras for beginners, aspiring photographers, vloggers, and online content creators.
